About the training program
The program trains highly qualified specialists to apply engineering principles in biology and medicine. The field of bioengineering covers a wide range of tasks, from genetic and protein engineering to tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Students gain a solid foundation in molecular and structural biology and biomedical materials science, and also master practical methods in proteomics, genomics, and metabolomics. The program prepares graduates to create biological molecules and organisms with specified properties and to develop new therapeutic approaches for treating socially significant diseases in humans and animals.
