About the training program
The specialty program is aimed at preparing specialists in the field of subsoil study and mineral resource exploration. Students study the basics of geology, methods of geological surveying and interpretation of geological data, as well as acquire skills in working with various tools and technologies for identifying and evaluating mineral deposits. The main attention is paid to the practical aspects of the geologist's work: sample selection and analysis, creation of geological maps and models, as well as assessment of the economic value and prospects of field development.
