About the training program

Cartography and geoinformatics are about maps and modern technologies for working with spatial data. Students learn not only to draw maps but also to work with geographic information systems (GIS): satellite images, digital terrain models, drone data, and navigation systems. This knowledge is needed to understand how the world around us works, find objects on the ground, and plan the development of cities

What do graduates do?

They can engage in developing navigators, creating maps for "smart cities," land management, natural resource management, scientific activities, and also teaching.
