The power industry is one of the leading sectors of the global economy, which is why the profession of an energy specialist holds a leading position among engineering specialties with high-paying salaries. Graduates of the program are in demand by the largest companies in the fuel and energy complex of Russia and the CIS countries, power grid companies, and design institutes, for example: PJSC "Rosseti", JSC "Donenergo", "Donsetstroyproekt", oil and gas sector companies: "Gazprom", "Lukoil", "Transneft", and others.

What will they teach you?

  • Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering. A study of the fundamental principles of electrical engineering, including the laws of electrical circuits and the basic components of electrical systems.
  • Electrical Machines and Apparatus. Mastering the design, principles of operation and application of various electrical machines such as generators, transformers and motors.
  • Power Systems. Study of the design, operation and management of power systems including power plants and distribution networks.

What do graduates do?

Graduates of the "Electrical Power and Electrical Engineering" program can work as electrical engineers, designing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
