About the training program

The program "Culture of Orthodoxy" is implemented within the framework of Christian theology. By mediating between religion and culture, clarifying the meaning and value of religion in the civilizational space, theology develops the creative and reflective abilities of students, contributes to the formation of spiritual and moral principles and mechanisms of social adaptation of the individual, appealing to the cultural and civilizational characteristics of the Russian mentality.

What will they teach you?

  • History of Religions: Study of the development of various religious traditions, their historical context, and their influence on culture and society.
  • Study of Sacred Texts: Analysis and interpretation of the sacred writings of various religions, such as the Bible, Quran, Torah, and others.
  • Philosophy of Religion: Examination of philosophical questions related to religion, such as the nature of God, the problem of evil, faith, and reason.
  • Practical Theology: Application of theological knowledge in practice, including pastoral work, counseling, and education.

What do graduates do?

Pastor or Priest: Conducting religious services, preaching, and spiritually guiding the community. Religious Counselor: Providing spiritual support and counseling to people in need. Religious Studies Teacher: Teaching theology, religious studies, and related subjects in educational institutions. Interfaith Dialogue Specialist: Participation in initiatives aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation between different religious traditions. Spiritual Mentor: Working with individuals or groups to support their spiritual growth and development.
