About the training program
In the “Ecology and Environmental Management” study area, students acquire fundamental knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, and ecology, as well as in various Earth sciences, including geology, geomorphology, soil science, atmospheric science, hydrology, and others. Students develop skills in using geographic information systems (GIS) and processing aerial and satellite imagery. The training of environmental and natural resource management specialists involves the use of advanced modern research methods that make it possible to address such tasks as forecasting climate change, assessing environmental pollution and environmental impact, and evaluating environmental risks.
