About the training program
The master’s program takes an integrated approach to studying the main trends in the development of theater and cinema from their origins to the present day, including current developments in contemporary performance culture, as well as the work of leading figures in today’s theater and cinema. Attention is also paid to modern media technologies in the context of intercultural dialogue. The program includes courses on the history of culture from Antiquity to the end of the 18th century, sections devoted to the genesis and history of theater and film studies, and seminars that discuss various concepts in light of common sociocultural issues and the specific features of national mentality.
