The joint work of the educational divisions, the Competence Development Center, and the Department for Promoting Student Employment of SFedU is aimed at applying theoretical knowledge during practical training at potential employers’ facilities and acquiring additional competencies and skills directly relevant to employment.
Employment assistance
SOFT SKILLS CLASS is designed to develop the soft skills needed for a successful career, self-realization, and adaptation to changing conditions. The SOFT SKILLS CLASS project helps participants find internships, practical training opportunities, and future employment.
Southern Federal University (SFedU) also offers continuing professional education programs and research internships at university facilities and those of employer partners. SFedU’s partners include Unilever in Russia, X5 Group, VK, Mars (MIEP), Sberbank, FutureToday, and Rostelecom.
Applicants can learn more about the university and its programs and start studying Russian at summer school venues. SFedU’s international summer school programs offer a unique way to organize leisure time, enabling participants to become part of intensive academic and research programs and master classes, as well as gain new interdisciplinary competencies and skills.

The Uzbekistan State University of World Languages began its activities in 1949. The university has a rich 70-year history. Graduates of SFU work as teachers in various fields and specializations, and also teach Russian as a foreign language to university students and schoolchildren.

The Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the supreme body of state external audit and financial control. Graduates of SFedU work as lead inspectors and administrative and managerial staff.
Southern Federal University
SFedU is the largest research and educational center in southern Russia, tracing its history back to 1915. Students and graduates find employment at the university as translators, foreign-language and specialized-subject teachers, as well as administrative staff.
