About the training program
The program "Pedagogical Education (Theory and Methodology of Forming a Multicultural Personality in a Multinational Community)" focuses on preparing educators for work in multiethnic regions such as Yakutia and the Arctic, where indigenous peoples (Yakutis, Evenks, Chukchi, Yukagirs, and others) live. Students study the theory and practice of forming a tolerant, multicultural personality through the integration of traditions, languages, and values of different ethnic groups.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work as educators in multinational schools and universities (methodologies for ethnic classes), coordinators of educational programs in indigenous centers (for example, in the Yakutsk House of Friendship of Peoples), inclusion specialists in ministries (Ministry of Education of Yakutia, Rossotrudnichestvo), researchers in ethnopedagogy (projects for the preservation of Northern languages), or consultants in NGOs (UNESCO, Arctic Council). Focus on the North: from local schools to international initiatives for cultural diversity.
