About the training program
The program "Cultural Studies (Management of Sociocultural Projects and Art Management)" focuses on the management of cultural initiatives in the multi-ethnic and Arctic region of Yakutia. Students study sociocultural projects (organization of festivals, exhibitions, educational programs to preserve the traditions of indigenous peoples: Yakuts, Evenks, Chukchi) and art management (curatorship of arts, promotion of contemporary Yakut art with elements of shamanism, ecology, and folklore).
What do graduates do?
Graduates work as managers of socio-cultural projects in NGOs and government institutions (Arctic heritage programs), art managers in museums and galleries (curatorship of Yakut folklore exhibitions), festival and tour organizers (Oloncho events, ecotourism), cultural policy specialists in ministries (Yakutia, federal level) or consultants in international organizations (UNESCO, cultural exchanges with Asia). Focus on the North: from local initiatives to global projects, with links to anthropology, tourism, and philology programs for comprehensive cultural development.
