About the training program
Students acquire fundamental knowledge in zoology, botany, plant physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, and evolution, developing a comprehensive understanding of biological systems—from microscopic cells to complex ecosystems. Particular attention is paid to laboratory research and field observations, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. The educational process makes use of the zoological museum, the herbarium collection of the Department of Botany, and research laboratories in molecular biology and plant physiology. Faculty members actively involve students in research projects focused on the departments’ areas of study.
