About the training program
The basis of the program consists of in-depth courses in mathematical analysis, theoretical mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum theory, thermodynamics, and statistical physics. The mandatory part is supplemented with specialized modules (astrophysics, condensed matter physics, radiophysics), special physics practicals, and elective courses. A feature of the program is the integration of the research component (R&D) and pedagogical training, which ensures the formation of both research and teaching competencies.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the program are in demand as researchers in academic and industry research institutes (RAS, scientific centers), research engineers and developers in high-tech sectors (nanoindustry, optoelectronics, IT), as well as specialists in mathematical modeling and data processing. The fundamental training obtained allows them to hold positions as analysts in consulting and IT companies. The pedagogical module provides qualifications for teaching physics in the system of secondary general and additional education. The program serves as the basis for successful continuation of studies in master's and postgraduate programs in physical-mathematical and engineering-technical areas.
