Admission as part of a general competition
Standard admission procedure for foreign citizens on general grounds. Admission occurs based on the results of entrance tests or on the basis of education documents.

Admission to the Olympiads
Preferential admission for winners and prize-winners of international olympiads included in the list of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The right to admission without entrance exams is granted.

International applicants may enroll at SGTU in higher education programs either on a fee-paying basis or within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as based on the results of participation in the All-Russian Student Olympiad in Ecology (with international participation), organized by SGTU. Students may enroll in Russian language programs at the SGTU Center for Language and Subject Preparation either on a fee-paying basis or within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation.
