About the University
Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov is one of the leading universities in the region. It has more than 20,000 students, of whom over 2,000 are foreigners. KBSU named after Kh.M. Berbekov celebrates 92 years since its founding this year. The university has become a participant in the "Priority 2030" program. This provides an opportunity to develop and modernize educational and research activities. Thanks to this participation, new laboratories are opened at the university, scientific research is conducted, and innovative projects are developed. The university includes 11 institutes, 1 medical academy, and 4 colleges. All conditions are created here for obtaining quality education and developing scientific research.

University campus
The area of the university campus is 41.4 hectares, on which there are 34 buildings with classrooms, auditoriums, libraries, laboratories, offices, conference halls, canteens, and a sports hall, 12 dormitories, mostly corridor-type, for students and teachers.
Studgorodok
The structure of the Student Town includes 12 student dormitories with a total number of beds - 3833. There are 2 types of living space layout in the dormitories: corridor and block. It is possible to use individual energy-intensive appliances, there is Internet and walking distance to the educational buildings.
University clinic
The university clinic is located in a new two-story building. It is equipped with modern diagnostic, laboratory, and therapeutic medical equipment. University students receive qualified medical care at the clinic.
sports facilities
The sports infrastructure of KBGU is represented by a stadium with natural surface and running tracks, a mini-football artificial field, a physical culture and sports complex equipped with a swimming pool, as well as five sports halls in the educational buildings.
EUNC
The Elbrus Educational and Scientific Complex of KBGU (EUNK) is located in one of the most picturesque places in Russia – in the Elbrus region. Here, about 200 people can rest simultaneously in good living conditions. The complex also includes educational and scientific, cultural and mass, and health blocks.
