About the training program
During their studies, students acquire the skills required to perform all operations in an orchard, including pruning fruit trees and berry bushes of different ages, budding, winter grafting with scions, green cutting propagation, and green operations in vineyards. The training also covers the development of plans for establishing fruit orchards and berry plantations, including the specific features of intensive plantings.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work at agricultural enterprises, nurseries, horticultural and viticultural farms, research institutes, and educational institutions. They become agronomists, specialists in fruit growing, berry cultivation, and viticulture, nursery specialists, and biotechnologists. They also design orchards and berry plantations, implement intensive technologies, and carry out practical work—from pruning trees to propagating plants using various methods.
