Development and advancement of theory; development of analytical and computational methods for assessing the mechanical safety and fire resistance, as well as for the rational design and optimization of structures and structural systems of buildings and structures. Development of physical and numerical methods for experimental studies of structural systems, load-bearing and enclosing structures, and the structural properties of materials. Advancement of the theory and methods for assessing the stress state, robustness, risk, reliability, residual service life, and design life of building structures, buildings, and structures. Instruction is available in Russian and English.
