1.5. Biological Sciences. Training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel capable of innovative activities in the field of soil science and education. The main tasks of preparing a graduate student are: the ability to apply methodological foundations for designing, conducting field and laboratory biological, ecological research, using modern equipment and computing systems in accordance with the specialty. The graduate student will learn to conduct field and laboratory biological-ecological research.
What do graduates do?
Graduate students are capable of independently conducting scientific research in the relevant professional field, publishing scientific articles in biological and interdisciplinary areas, working as teachers and researchers. Possible areas of activity for graduates: Scientific research, educational, production, environmental protection, and other federal, regional, and municipal organizations, including the Southern Federal University, the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rosselkhoznadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the Azov-Black Sea branch of the FSBI "VNIRO," and others.
