About the training program

As part of the program, specialists are trained in the development and operation of modern precision technologies in fiber optics, optoelectronics, and precision instrumentation. They know modern fiber optic technologies, laser cutting technologies, and processing of optical materials. Graduates are able to formulate tasks of scientific research in the field of optics, choose optimal methods of experimental research, conduct measurements with the choice of technical means and processing of results, defend the priorities and novelty of the obtained research results.

What will they teach you?

  • Develop new production technologies for optoelectronic, optical materials, optical and optoelectronic devices and systems
  • Develop mathematical models for the operation of optical and optoelectronic devices and systems, create new or select existing algorithms to solve problems

What do graduates do?

- Process Engineer - Design Engineer - Research Engineer Graduates of the program in an average of 5 years go through the following career path: novice → process engineer / research associate → group / department leader.
