The main areas of research at the Chair of Living Systems Physics are biological and medical physics and mechanics of organs and tissues, biomedical informatics and engineering, development and testing of medical devices, artificial organs and organ replacement technologies, biophysics of membranes, cell and tissue engineering. Students and postgraduates in the Chair of Physics of Living Systems are trained and engaged in theoretical and experimental research of living systems at the cellular, organ and system level.
