About the training program
The master's program "Translation and Business Communication in Nuclear Energy" is aimed at training highly qualified specialists with a deep knowledge of specialized English in the field of nuclear energy, as well as a second foreign language. A significant place among the program's disciplines is planned to be given to professional communication skills in the field of nuclear energy and translation project management. The study of the terminological base, principles and methods of oral and written translation, and the specifics of business intercultural communication in foreign economic activity is provided.
What do graduates do?
The competencies formed as a result of training will allow graduates to also work as military translators in the field of nuclear technologies and translators in the field of nuclear medicine. Graduates will be able to successfully apply the acquired skills in the following areas of scientific, applied, and production activities: organization and management of translations, foreign economic activity, oral sequential translation, application of automated translation systems, translation of technical and contractual documentation, second foreign language in the business sphere, business writing, annotation, referencing, intercultural communication in foreign economic activity.
