About the training program
The program is aimed at improving the quality of qualified translation services in the IT sector, meeting the needs of the modern market, as well as supporting the plan for interaction between Russia and China until 2030, announced by President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin regarding close cooperation and the development of joint projects. Graduates of the "Technical Translation" program at Tomsk Polytechnic University will know Chinese, English, and Russian at a professional level. In addition to this: IT norms and standards, translation subject area terminology, localization principles, pre-translation analysis algorithm, machine translation editing techniques, and translator's professional ethics.
