Overall 1,094 prospective students from 51 countries enrolled at Far Eastern Federal University in 2018. To attract international students, Far Eastern Federal University takes part in international education fairs in China, India, Uzbekistan and other countries, and invites foreign nationals to Olympiads and summer schools. According to Victoria Panova, FEFU Vice President for International Relations, many international schoolchildren, after taking a short programme, choose to continue their education at FEFU. It offers prospective students a broad range of engineering fields, natural sciences and humanities. More than 500 undergraduate and some 200 graduate programmes are available; some of them are taught in English.
