More Students at SUSU

SUSU expands its admission geography.

Two thousand foreign students from 40 countries are currently enrolled at Southern Urals State University, and kids from 15 other countries will join them shortly. Chelyabinsk is a traditional education destination for citizens of China, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and African countries. In 2016, SUSU will welcome Indonesian, Colombian, Jordanian, Lebanese and other students for the first time.

Overseas students tend to choose Economics, Philology and Language Studies, Construction, Metallurgy, Nanoelectronics and Mechanical Engineering. Programmes in English are particularly popular. Fundamental Computer Science and IT, Mechatronics and Robotics, Economics and Philology are taught in English.

Many foreign students point out SUSU’s high quality of education and custom-tailored approach of the faculty. There is a branch of the Association of Foreign Students of Russia at SUSU, whose employees are always ready to come to the aid of newcomers in tight situations.
