About the training program
The program is designed to develop professional written translation competencies in a wide range of fields, including politics, economics, environmental studies, digital technologies, medicine, journalism, and literary fiction. German is the working foreign language. All translations, except creative translations, are performed using a translation memory system, generally with the use of machine translation and its post-editing. At the pre-translation stage, in accordance with the innovative methodology of the Nizhny Novgorod School of Translation, the source text is processed automatically to extract terms and terminological phrases, which are used to compile and apply a standardized glossary.
